Top Stacks by Value for DraftKings NFL Week 3 Contests

These are our top three stacks for this week’s action on DraftKings. You will notice that we carried over two of our stacks from our week 3 FanDuel plays, and swapped out Bortles and Robinson for Winston and Evans. Both Winston and Evans are underpriced on DraftKings, and our projections have them going for just slightly fewer points than the Jags stack. Luck and Dorsett remain our top stack, simply because Dorsett is a value play and anytime you have a bargain player projected to score 18.5, it will push the stack to the top.

Luck / Dorsett
Combined Salary : $12,000
Projected Points: 44.5 / Stack Value: 3.71
Tannehill / Landry / Parker
Combined Salary : $17,700
Projected Points: 62 / Stack Value: 3.50
Winston / Evans
Combined Salary : $13,000
Projected Points: 39.5 / Stack Value: 3.04

DraftKings Week 3 Picks

Assuming we start with one of the above stacks, here are our favorite DraftKings week 3 plays to fill out your rosters. You will find our top week 3 bargain picks below this list.

DeMarco Murray

DraftKings Salary : $6,300
We don’t love Murray’s value moving forward this season, but love him in this spot. Oakland is a talented defense, but are a complete mess through the first two weeks. Their run defense is arguably the strength of the team, but it’s Murray’s role in the Titans passing game that makes him an attractive play this week. We are loading up on top end receivers, so he is the highest priced running back I would play.

Melvin Gordon

DraftKings Salary : $5,800
Gordon is our top RB value on DraftKings for week 3 and will find his way into most of our cash and GPP lineups. The Colts are one of, if not the, best matchups in football right now, and Gordon is now the every down back for an offense that has scored as many RB points as anyone over the past few seasons and has a rebuilt offensive line that has been impressive.

Antonio Brown

DraftKings Salary : $9,600
I have written four articles covering this topic this week, but with a healthy Ben, you play AB in 100% of his games against NFC opponents. It’s like Drew Brees at home against an out of conference opponent… don’t ask questions, it’s a lock. The Eagles defense is going to be great under Jim Schwartz, but their weaknesses feed into Brown’s strengths.

Odell Beckham Jr

DraftKings Salary : $9,100
We have three categories of lineups this week: AB lineups, OBJ lineups, and lineups with both guys. With all of the value available this week, you should easily be able to fit both receivers into at least one lineup, and, if ever there were a week to pay up for 2 players over $9,000 on DraftKings, this is it. Washington is allowing an opponent QB rating of 108.6 this season, they run one of the most straight-forward schemes in football, struggle to get consistent pressure, and have given up 9 plays over 20 yards. Also worth noting OBJ is due, which is absolutely a real thing when it comes to top end receivers. Need another reason? Cue career game log against Washington…

Delanie Walker

DraftKings Salary : $5,000
We don’t love paying up at the tight end spot this week, simply because we want to target those two big receivers. However, you can’t overlook the fact that one of the most targeted tight ends in football is matched up with a team that just gave up 10/180/1 to the position in week 2. The Raiders secondary has three new starters, including two rookies this week, and just gave up 800 yards to Matt Ryan and the Falcons who traveled across the country in what should have been a tough spot. Walker is our top TE on the board for this DraftKings slate.

DraftKings Week 4 Bargains

Charles Sims

DraftKings Salary : $4,900
We somewhat broke down why we slightly prefer Sims to Riddick in our FanDuel week 3 preview, but in a full PPR format like DraftKings, we like both players this week. The Rams run defense has been solid, but they gave up more receiving yards to opposing running backs than any team in football last season. Look for Sims to approach 100 total yards with 5+ receptions and a touchdown in week 3.

Jay Ajayi

DraftKings Salary : $4,000
It’s rare that you get a starting running back, in this good of a matchup, and this good of a system for $4,000. Ajayi is not a terrible running back, and flashed some potential last week against the Pats. We know RB’s will get a ton of work in Adam Gase’s system, and this is the first chance we get to see this offense run against a non top 5 defense. If Foster is out, get Ajayi in your lineups.

Travis Benjamin

DraftKings Salary : $5,200
Most of our subscribers know that we rarely chase monster games… However, when you are playing the worst secondary in football, indoors, on turf, in a game where the Chargers will need to score a bunch, you pull the string on Benjamin for a second straight week.

Tavon Austin

DraftKings Salary : $4,100
Sometimes you have to just shut your mind off and trust the numbers. Over the last 18 games, there are only three defenses that have allowed more fantasy points to opposing receivers than the Bucs. Austin has had a quiet start to his season, but again, that just means a regression or in this case a progression to the mean is brewing. Austin had three multi touchdown games last season, and will get 12+ targets in a road game where the Rams will have to score to keep pace with Dirk Koetter and Jameis Winston.

Jack Doyle

DraftKings Salary : $2,500
Doyle is here to stay. He is playing over 50% of the Colts snaps, and will see that number, and his role, increase for as long as Moncrief is sidelined. DraftKings’ pricing is yet to catch on here, so at the minimum salary, he just needs to repeat what he did against the Broncos (a game that Luck threw for just 197 in) to reach 3x value.

Hunter Henry

DraftKings Salary : $2,500
If we learned anything from the Chargers over the past 1.5 weeks, it’s that Rivers can throw for 300 yards with just about anyone around him. Rivers had three primary targets in this passing game: Allen, Gates, and Woodhead. Those targets now need to be dispersed around the players that are left, meaning Henry could be in line to see as many as 10 targets against the Indianapolis Colts defense this Sunday. Worth a shot in your GPP lineups. If you trust Doyle as well, you can do something crazy like this:
